One way to ensure you always get the best deals you can is to get flights in the sale. Obviously, however, we won’t always know when the sales are on. The best way to know about all the sales and offers available to you, is to go to all of the major airline websites and sign up for the newsletter emails, making sure you check the box about being contacted for special offers and discounts. This will give you the best chance to find cheap flights, wherever you’re going, including cheap international flights
Don’t get caught out, however. Many of the offers that are featured are only one way. So if you’re comparing prices, make sure you get a quote for the entire trip, as you may find that the return flights can be a lot more expensive than the featured one way offer.
Another way to find the cheapest flights around is to use independent comparison websites. You simply put in the details of your trip and it will search all of the airline websites for you and pull up all the options available in order of price. You may find that your cheapest flight is not direct however, that you’ll have to stop over somewhere. When the difference in price is not very much, this isn’t always worth it, and you’d be better off getting a direct flight.
